Full-size JZs BZs bar for organising compatible cages during controlled storage or queen dispatch.

Part number QC-901 has 46 positions and can be fitted into a Langstroth frame; two bars provide a total of 92 positions in this configuration.

01 · USE

Organises the cages; does not replace the protocol

The bar keeps the units in rows and avoids having to handle them one by one, but does not feed, ventilate or introduce the queens on its own. To keep queens in a colony, you need compatible JZs BZs cages, adequate access for the worker bees and a properly prepared queen bank. To dispatch them, you will also need the packaging specified for the cage and the journey.

02 · CHECKS

Checks before loading

· Confirm that the cage model fits and is securely held in place without deforming its body or blocking its ventilation area.

· Check that the bar is straight, clean and free from cracks, burrs or damage.

· If you mount it on a frame, secure the assembly so that the bars do not rotate or collide when it is moved.

· Count the positions actually occupied and retain the batch identification; physical capacity does not equate to traceability.

The bar, cage and dispatch container are separate components. This data sheet relates to a single, full-size bar. The cages, the Langstroth frame and the shipping packaging shown in demonstration set-ups are separate components. Check the complete assembly before placing live queens in it.

⚠ PRECAUTIONS

The length of time a queen can remain caged, the queen-bank configuration, the presence of attendants and transport conditions depend on the cage, the colony and the dispatch system. The bar provides mechanical organisation; it is not a guarantee of acceptance, survival or longevity. After each use, remove wax and propolis without forcing the compartments. Clean using a method compatible with the bar’s material and allow to dry completely before storing.
