1 L FORMAT | 5 ml PER LITRE OF SYRUP |
200 L SYRUP PER BOTTLE | 6 VITAMINS |
Liquid supplement of solubilised vitamins and amino acids, added to the syrup.
When pollen is short or the flora is not varied, the colony runs into a micronutrient deficit before you see anything at the entrance. Promotor L Apis mixes into the syrup to cover that side, and it is taken up quickly because it is in solubilised form.
01 · NUTRITION
Worth being clear about before you use it: a multivitamin with amino acids brings supporting micronutrients, but it does not replace pollen or a varied flora, and it does not stand in for the protein side when there are not enough well-fed nurse bees. It is one part of a feeding plan, not the plan.
02 · COMPOSITION
Six vitamins — nicotinamide, D-panthenol, B1, B2, B6 and biotin — involved in energy metabolism, plus an amino acid profile (L-alanine, L-arginine, L-aspartic acid and others) and yeast hydrolysate, which brings B-group vitamins. What it does not carry, and it is worth knowing: vitamin C. Ascorbic acid oxidises and is not part of commercial multivitamins, so if you want it you add it separately.
03 · HOW TO USE
Mix at 5 ml per litre of sugar syrup, or work it into feeds and maintenance pastes. At that rate, the 1 litre bottle covers around 200 litres of syrup.
04 · BEFORE YOU BUY
It makes sense during windows of pollen shortage or poor floral diversity, alongside a syrup. It does not make sense as an answer to a health problem or as a substitute for stores: if the colony is weak from varroa, from lack of space or from hunger, that gets fixed first and on its own terms.
