APIBOX HoneyComb system

The APIBOX system offers a practical, clean and direct way to harvest and package comb honey without cutting or handling.

It consists of a robust wooden frame, thicker than standard frames, designed to hold small food-grade plastic capsules. These capsules feature a pre-embossed honeycomb pattern that guides the bees. In principle, adding wax is not required, although lightly brushing with liquid wax can improve acceptance. If the hive is strong, the bees will draw comb directly onto the plastic structure without issue.

Once filled and capped, the capsules are easily removed thanks to the pre-cut frame design: just push them out and fit the included wooden lids to obtain a ready-to-sell product. Hygienic, attractive and 100% natural, with no extraction or cutting needed.

Success depends on the hive's strength and proper feeding. For best results, place APIBOX frames in supers during abundant nectar flows, such as lavender, rosemary or orange blossom.

• APIBOX MINI: 12 plastic capsules in medium super frame, 48 cm top bar (Langstroth US or Dadant US)
• APIBOX MIDI: 16 plastic capsules in medium super frame, 47 cm top bar (Dadant Blatt – French format)
• APIBOX MAXI: 24 plastic capsules in full-depth frame, 48 cm top bar (Langstroth or Dadant US)

After purchasing the complete kit, only the plastic capsules will need to be replaced in future seasons. Refills sold separately.
