This is a puncher to drill the sides of the frames and insert the eyelets in the same step.
If you’ve ever had to drill the sides of wooden frames by hand to thread wire, you’ll know how tricky it is to keep consistent spacing between holes. This professional frame perforator solves that issue by allowing you to drill accurately on all types of wooden frames—whether they’re shallow, medium, or full-depth brood frames (1/1).
The system includes a 31 cm long perforated guide rail with adjustable stops, where the side bars of the frame are placed. You can easily set the spacing between holes to match your needs—especially useful if you use different frame formats or prefer more or fewer wire passes depending on your setup.
Besides drilling, this tool also lets you insert small metal eyelets directly into the holes of the side bars, which helps protect the wood and ensures smooth wire tensioning. It includes a special adapter that makes it easy to work with full-depth brood frames (1/1) without switching tools.
Specifications: 31 cm perforating rail. Fully adjustable hole spacing. Compatible with all wooden frame sizes (shallow, medium, full-depth). Adapter included for 1/1 brood frames.
