01 · WHAT IT SEPARATES
Wax out, bee bread on
What comes off the machine is bee bread mixed with fragments of wax from the broken comb. The separator passes it through a metal mesh and sends the wax particles and other impurities into a steel drawer.
What leaves the sieve is clean and ready for the next stage.
02 · WHY BEFORE DRYING
Wax sticks once it cools
This step goes before drying, and it is not indifferent: freshly extracted, the material is loose and the wax comes away. Once dried and packed together, separating wax from granules is hand work that does not pay.
Stainless steel is what belongs here: bee bread is a food product, and this is the mesh and drawer it passes through.
03 · FOR THE BBM MINI ONLY
Not a universal accessory
It is built to the measure of the BBM MINI. It is 30 × 21.5 cm and 45.5 cm tall, and it fits into that machine's flow — not another harvester's.
