Manual tool made from SUS 304 stainless steel for extracting small portions of bee bread directly from comb cells. Its punch-and-ejector design works one cell at a time, making it practical for sampling, selective harvesting or processing small quantities without setting up a dedicated harvester.
Insert the tube opening into a filled cell, advance with controlled pressure and withdraw the portion. Then operate the rod to eject it into a clean container. If the wax gives way or the contents are crushed, change the angle and reduce pressure.
The process is manual and repetitive. For many cells or several combs, a dedicated harvester offers a more suitable workflow. This tool makes sense when you need to select specific areas, assess the product or avoid setting up a processing line.
Remove residue from the tube and ejector after use, then wash, rinse and dry completely. Work over a clean surface and move the bee bread promptly to its intended treatment or storage, without leaving it unnecessarily exposed.
