For taking samples, harvesting only the parts of the comb you want, or processing small amounts without setting up a harvester.

01 · HOW IT WORKS

Push in, press, eject: it cuts, it does not suck

Bee bread is packed into the cell and comes out as a plug. Support the frame well, push the mouth of the tube straight into a full cell and press until the plug is inside; withdraw the tool and work the plunger to eject it into a clean container. If the wax gives or the contents crush, ease off the pressure and change the angle. When you finish, clear the tube and the plunger, wash and dry completely: damp pollen ferments.

02 · PERFORMANCE

Chosen for precision, not for volume

Bee bread is pollen the bees store in the cell with honey and secretions, transformed inside the comb; that is why it is compact and comes out clean with a punch. But it is manual work, cell by cell. With this tool you select: a specific area of the frame, a comb to check, a few grams to try. Emptying whole combs means freezing them and running them through a harvester that separates the wax; there a punch falls short.
