DIN18 or PP28 thread: not interchangeable

Everything in this category is decided by the thread. Propolis bottles are DIN18; royal jelly jars are PP28. A closure from one thread will not fit the other, and it is the most repeated mistake when restocking.

Compatibility: DIN18 takes the dropper cap with tamper seal, the dropper pipette and the spray atomiser cap. PP28 takes the PP28 cap. The wide-mouth TO43 jar is a different matter: it is used with a spoon, not a dropper.

Bottles come without caps

This is what throws orders off. Bottles are supplied without a closure and in sealed packs of irregular size - 156, 135, 115 or 88 units depending on the reference - while caps are ordered separately. Work the closures out from the real pack count, not from what you planned to fill, or you end up with bottles and no caps or the other way round.

Why the glass is coloured

Amber and topaz are not styling: they filter much of the visible and ultraviolet light that clear glass lets through. For a product sold by the drop and sitting on a shelf for months, that barrier is the difference between keeping the original colour and aroma or not.

And if you pack fresh royal jelly, the container is only half the problem: it travels chilled, so you also need an isothermal box for shipping.
