Labellers

Labelling by hand works until you can no longer bear to look at it. The problem is not speed: it is that a crooked label shows, and on a shelf the straight one looks like a different brand.

The ladder

  • SIPA® wooden dispenser (€45) — it does not stick: it just peels the label off the roll so you can pick it up straight. The cheapest improvement there is.
  • Manual labeller with frame (€250-339) — the jar turns resting on the machine and the label goes on aligned. This is where crookedness disappears.
  • Flexlabeller® (€650) — manual but made for honey containers, with quick adjustment between formats.
  • Automatic lines — for continuous production.

The roll before the machine

Custom rolls of 500 labels (€24.95) are the prerequisite: a labeller does not work with loose labels or sheets. If you do not have them on a roll yet, that is step one — and the label carries the mandatory information and the batch number, which is what lets you trace.
