The 16-tray pollen dryer (100 L) is designed to ensure fast, uniform, and controlled dehydration of fresh bee pollen. Made entirely from acid-resistant stainless steel, this compact and hygienic unit is ideal for professional beekeepers and small-scale pollen producers who need to preserve product quality and shelf life.

Why is proper drying essential?

Fresh pollen contains 15–30 % moisture. If not dried quickly, it may ferment or develop mold, degrading its nutritional and commercial value. Drying the pollen to below 8 % humidity ensures safe long-term storage without freezing, improves stability, and makes it suitable for retail and export markets.

How does the dryer work?

Pollen is evenly spread across 16 perforated stainless steel trays, each holding around 2 kg. A rear ventilation system and a heating element generate a consistent airflow throughout the cabinet. The adjustable temperature range (40–90 °C) allows for fine-tuning the process according to pollen type, ensuring gentle yet efficient drying.
