PUBLISHED SIZE

Industrial fresh-pollen dryer with a vertical stainless chamber and adjustable circulation of hot and cold air from a diesel-fired generator.

The inherited listing describes a high-capacity unit but combines data from different configurations. This description therefore separates sound process guidance from the figures that a quotation must lock down: load, trays, power, airflow, automation, weight, utilities and exact version.

01 · LOADING AND UNIFORMITY

Useful capacity begins on every tray

Fresh pollen is perishable and should enter clean, traceable and without unnecessary delay. Spread thin, even layers —as a process reference, no more than about 2 cm— without compacting the pellets or blocking the perforations. Balance the trays so air finds comparable paths throughout the chamber. A total figure of 240–295 kg cannot compensate for thick layers, differing initial moisture or poorly ventilated zones.

02 · PROCESS ENDPOINT

Four to six hours guides; measurement releases the batch

The inherited 4–6 h cycle varies with initial moisture, layer depth, load, temperature, airflow and ambient conditions. Time alone must not declare completion. Define a moisture target and, where applicable, water activity and microbiological criteria in the food-safety plan; sample several representative levels. A typical technical reference of 6–8% moisture may support quality planning, but applicable law, customer specification and the validated process take precedence.

03 · TEMPERATURE AND AIR

Product temperature matters more than the set point

Control heat and ventilation so pollen dries without overheating or avoidable quality loss. Technical literature favours the lowest effective temperature and avoids direct sun; supply-air temperature is not necessarily product temperature. The 6000 m³/h airflow and 42 kW rating come from the inherited short text and need confirmation. Record set point, actual product temperature, time, load and result to establish a validated recipe rather than relying on one universal setting.

04 · COOLING AND HYGIENE

Do not pack warm pollen that can regain moisture

The inherited text runs the fan for 15–20 minutes at the end; good practice is to finish with clean, cool, dry air until the product is stable before unloading. Move pollen into clean, dry, food-grade closable containers protected from light, pests and humidity. Clean chamber, trays and ducts under the validated plan without detergent carry-over, corrosion, condensation or fumes. Drying does not sterilise pollen or remove contaminants already present.

05 · INSTALLATION AND COMBUSTION

The burner requires ventilation and fire precautions

Before installation, confirm permitted fuel, tank, suction, hoses, flue-gas route, electrical supply, protection, available power and local requirements. Process air must not carry combustion gases, smoke, dust or odours into the pollen. Allow space for doors, trays, cleaning, service and safe movement; lock the castors during operation. Burner, fan, inverter, probes and control panel must be commissioned and maintained by competent personnel.

06 · BEFORE YOU BUY

Do not quote this machine from the “260 kg” name alone

The inherited page combines a 260 kg name, 240–295 kg body capacity, 36 trays in Spanish and 34 elsewhere, 42 kW, 6000 m³/h, a 50 h timer in the summary and an optional timer in the body. It publishes 2.10 × 1.30 × 1.70 m and about 450 kg, while PrestaShop/Quartup records 30 kg. The probable manufacturer's current M-300XL Pro has different figures and must not be copied across. The quotation must identify model/serial and resolve every discrepancy.

✓ SUITABLEProfessional fresh-pollen processing with uniform loading, controlled air and analytical batch release.
✕ NOT THISA guarantee of 260 kg per cycle, 4–6 h drying or sterilisation for every pollen batch.
