WILARA PROFI dryer, manufacturer item 12363, for large-scale pollen or bee-bread batches, with a mobile rack holding 60 trays and a nominal capacity of up to 250 kg.

With the rack removed, the same chamber accepts a 200-litre metal drum. The current page and historical documentation retain the same geometry and capacity but differ electrically, so the supplied version must be fixed in the quotation.

01 · LOADING

Sixty trays do not replace an even layer

Each tray measures 400 × 640 × 20 mm and is made from acid-resistant perforated stainless steel with 3 mm holes. Spread the product in an even layer, avoid heaps and keep airflow passages clear. The 250 kg figure describes nominal equipment capacity, not an instruction to load every batch to the limit. Determine completion by measurement and the site's quality procedure rather than elapsed time alone.

02 · AIR AND MOISTURE

Two ways to remove water from the product

WILARA publishes two operating modes: exhausting moisture outside and collecting it by condensation. In collection mode, extracted water leaves through a transparent hose into a container beside the dryer. The manufacturer gives 14 hours for pollen in this mode as an efficiency reference. It is not a guaranteed cycle: initial moisture, layer depth, total load, room temperature and the cleanliness of airflow paths all change the result.

03 · SECOND USE

From tray dryer to a chamber for one drum

Without the rack and trays, the chamber can hold one 200-litre metal drum to decrystallise honey without transferring it. Temperature and time must be chosen for the particular honey and checked during the process. Physical chamber capacity does not turn a pollen-drying programme into a valid decrystallisation programme, nor does it replace monitoring the product temperature.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

Fix the actual configuration in the quotation

The manufacturer's current page publishes 2.7 kW and 230 V. The old 900 W figure still present in this store matches neither that version nor the historical documentation reviewed. Ask the quotation to confirm voltage, installed power, controls, moisture-management mode, manual, commissioning and clearance for opening the door and withdrawing the rack. Published external dimensions are 1250 × 810 × 1750 mm, but operating and service clearance must be added.
