Tecniman CB207 stainless-steel ball half with an internal female thread, forming the ball end of a C-03 coupling.

Female is the thread that receives the equipment's male port. The ball engages a C-03 lever-latch half; both options share that coupling size.

01 · MALE OR FEMALE

The equipment decides the gender, and it works the opposite way round

This is the costliest mistake with this part, and it is made every day: you do not choose the ball end by what you are holding, but by the thread of the port it is going onto. Look at the outlet on the pump, the tank or the filter, and decide afterwards. If the port on the equipment has a male thread, the part that goes on is this one, the female; if the port is female, what you need is the male-threaded ball end.

02 · CHOOSE THE OPTION

Match the equipment thread, not the hose

Choose 1½″ —40 mm, reference CB2070003150— or 2″ —50 mm, CB2070003200— to match the male thread on the pump, vessel or fitting. Tecniman states only the nominal inch size, not the standard, pitch or measured diameter. Verify the equipment thread or its data sheet; never force a near match or choose by hose diameter.

03 · INSTALL AND CHECK

Complete the assembly with a compatible C-03 latch and seal

Stop, drain and depressurise the line; inspect the thread, ball and sealing edge. Fit the part to a compatible port using a sealing method suitable for the fluid. Engage only with a C-03 lever-latch half and a clean, intact, compatible C-03 O-ring. Run a controlled leak test; never couple under pressure or use this fitting as an isolating valve.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

Stainless steel alone is not food-contact certification

Tecniman states agricultural, industrial, public-works, water-transfer and general uses. It does not document stainless grade, elastomer, pressure, temperature or food-contact compliance. For honey contact, verify every wetted material and the cleaning procedure. Reject pitted, distorted or sealing-surface-damaged parts. Latch half, hose and O-ring are not stated as included.
