A stainless-steel female quick coupling for connecting 40 or 50 mm hose to compatible honey pumps, extractors and tanks.

It combines a lever-lock female coupling with a hose tail. Choose 1½ in for 40 mm internal-bore hose or 2 in for 50 mm internal-bore hose.

01 · CHOOSE THE SIZE

The version must match both the hose and the male coupling

Select 1½ in for hose with a 40 mm internal bore and 2 in for hose with a 50 mm internal bore. The tail fits inside the hose and needs a suitable clamp, which is not included. At the other end, the female socket requires a male coupling of the same size and profile. Check both interfaces: choosing from the hose's outside diameter alone can result in the wrong size.

02 · QUICK CONNECTION

Two levers connect and disconnect the line without repeated threading

Insert the matching male coupling into the female socket and close both levers evenly. The joint is mechanically retained and can be released by opening both levers while the installation is stopped and unpressurised. Sealing also depends on the internal gasket, its condition and correct seating; a quick coupling cannot compensate for a missing or damaged seal.

03 · HONEY-ROOM LAYOUT

A removable joint between hose and equipment

Use it to connect hose to the inlet or outlet of a pump and to tanks or extractors fitted with the corresponding male coupling. It makes sections easier to separate for cleaning, changing vessels or storing the line. Before pumping, confirm that both levers are closed, the clamp secures the hose and the pipe run is not placing sideways stress on the joint.

04 · BEFORE BUYING

Confirm 40 or 50 mm and inspect the fitting already on the equipment

This item is the female coupling with hose tail. It does not include the male coupling, spare gasket, hose, clamp, pump or threaded adaptor. If the equipment ends in a thread rather than a compatible male coupling, the appropriate transition fitting will also be needed. Do not mix 1½ and 2 in components even if they look similar.
