Apifonda is a sugar paste specifically formulated for bees, based on pure sucrose and ultra-fine microcrystals coated with a film of dissolved sugars. This allows bees to absorb it effortlessly through their sucking mouthparts from the very first moment.

Designed for maintenance and shortage periods —when colonies aren’t growing, but you still want to keep them strong— this paste replaces honey as a safe energy reserve, avoiding the sanitary risks of reintegrated honey. Ideal for:

Usage: Make a cut in the plastic film and place the bag upside down directly on the frames, so that the heat from the brood nest softens the paste and bees can access it easily without climbing over the frames.
