When a candy feed bag is opened with a wide cut, the film can fold back over the feed and narrow the access again. Candisac turns that cut into a defined opening: a plastic piece with two serrated faces, designed to pierce the bag and hold the edge of the opening apart while the feed is in position.

🔄 Two faces to pierce and hold the opening

First use the serrated piercing face on the candy or fondant bag. Then turn the piece over and insert the retaining face into the opening. Its teeth grip the film around the passage and help prevent it from folding back across the access. Pierce the bag on a firm surface and do not force the piece.

📐 Check the fit and position

The outer diameter is 6 cm and the inner passage is 3.5 cm. Before fitting, check that the opening in the crown board or feeder accepts these dimensions and that the assembly sits securely in its working position. It is not a universal adapter: if the seat does not match or the bag is displaced, correct the position before leaving it on the hive.
