A 5.5-litre roof feeder for the six-frame Paradise nucs: it closes the nuc at the top and refills without opening it.
This top feeder is designed for Paradise nucs with six Langstroth/Dadant frames. Its 5.5-litre capacity reduces the frequency of refilling and allows syrup to be added from above with less exposure to the area occupied by the bees.
01 · THE EPS BODY
The high-density EPS body provides insulation and seals the top of the nuc. The two transparent profiles channel the bees' access to the syrup and limit the open area.
02 · HOW TO FILL IT
Place it level, check that it sits on all sides, and pour the syrup slowly. Check joints, cracks, and edges before each filling; a leak inside the nuc can cool or wet the colony.
03 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Adjust composition and volume to the objective, season, and strength of the nuc. Avoid feeding during the commercial honey harvest and do not leave fermented syrup. The feeder alone does not prevent robbing or drowning.
| ✓ FITS | Six-frame Langstroth/Dadant Paradise nucs, when you want to space out the refills. |
| ⚠ CHECK JOINTS AND CRACKS | A leak inside the nuc chills and wets it. And the feeder does not by itself prevent robbing or drowning. |
