01 · WHY TWO

One entrance per compartment

The six-frame floor has a slot for the divider: it can work whole or split into two units of three frames. When you split it, each side has to fly through its own entrance, and ideally facing a different way: if both entrances end up side by side and pointing the same way, the foragers from one side go into the other.

02 · WHAT IT SOLVES

Open, narrow down and close, with no tools

The slider runs in its slot and sets the size of the opening: wide open during a flow, narrowed when the nuc is weak so it can defend itself from robbing, and shut to move the box. In a small colony that adjustment is not a luxury — with few bees at the door, a hive-sized gap is an invitation.

03 · WHERE IT FITS

On the six-frame floor, and only there

These are the entrance sliders of the Paradise six-frame system and they seat in their floor, which is sold separately and does not come with them fitted. The brand's other systems have their own and are not interchangeable: confirm which family your nuc belongs to before ordering the spare.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

Each piece measures 14.5 × 6 × 1.5 cm: compare with the one you take out, above all the thickness, which decides whether it runs in the slot.
