Wooden frame for the Kieler mating nuc, prepared with eyelets and already tensioned vertical stainless wire. A practical spare for replacing worn frames, preparing queen-rearing batches or having material ready before the queen season starts.
The eyelets protect the wood and the stainless wire saves assembling each frame from scratch. When working several mini-nucs, having frames ready in spring saves time when the queen-cell schedule does not wait.
This is not a universal frame: it is made for Kieler nucs. Using the correct format keeps the mini-nuc working space right and makes it easier to inspect brood, stores and early laying without forcing parts.
