Details of Steam wax extractor “VAPOR 15”

It is intended for the frames, dried cappings and combs melting. The wax is heated underneath and sideways by heating in a boiling water bath. Once cast, the frames retain their iron wires and can be reused. Dimensions 410x600x620mm, liquid wax collection mould included.

Does the VAPOR 15 run on gas or with an electric steam generator?
The setup specified by LEGA for the standard VAPOR 15 is to heat the water in its double bottom with a gas burner placed underneath; the burner is not included. An external electric steam generator is not part of the specified setup. For electric heating, the manufacturer’s equivalent model is the ELEKTRA 15 with a 2000 W heating element.
