Wide-bladed plastic paddle for collecting, spreading or transferring honey in buckets, tubs and settling tanks, and for simple work with wax. Its continuous edge follows walls and bases without introducing a metal tool; it is particularly useful for recovering the final layer of product before washing.
Place the full edge against the vessel wall and use long strokes without digging in a corner. If the honey is crystallised or the wax forms a hard block, allow the product to reach a workable texture: forcing the handle can score the plastic or break its joint with the blade.
Wash it immediately after use so that no honey, wax or water remains in the handle texture. Inspect the edge against the light and withdraw it from use if cracks, burrs, persistent odour or deformation appear. The hole in the handle allows it to be hung dry and away from dirty utensils.
