01 · IT DOESN'T WEIGH, IT DOSES

The question we get most

The machine does not weigh the jar: the pump turns just enough to deliver the amount you programmed. That is what “calibration” means, and it is why it has to be calibrated for each product — you dose, weigh on a separate scale, and correct.

From which follows the practical consequence: if the density or the temperature of the honey changes, the dose moves. Cold honey and warm honey do not come out the same, so check the weight at the start of each batch.

02 · WHAT IT FILLS AND WHAT NOT

Viscous yes, lumps no

It is made for honey and other viscous liquids and pastes, and the calibration adapts to products of different densities.

What does not go through a dosing pump is pieces: a jam with chunks of chestnut or fruit jams the head. Homogeneous product, no solids.

03 · TEMPERATURE

The honey sets the limit

This is the other repeated question. The machine has food-grade plastic in the circuit, so the maximum temperature is not open-ended: if you are going to fill above 50 °C, ask us first with the specific product.

With honey the question almost answers itself: you do not want to bottle above around 40 °C, because heat raises HMF. At that temperature the machine is on home ground.

04 · DRIPPING AND CLEANING

The reversible pump

The pump runs both ways: at the end of each dose it backs off for an instant and draws in the thread of honey that would otherwise hang. That is what stops the drip between jars, and what keeps the bench from ending up sticky.

The parts in contact with the product come apart for washing. That is the part of the job that decides how long the machine lasts: honey dried inside the head is what ruins a doser.

05 · WHAT IS NOT IN THE BOX

Hopper, stand and pedal

This is the point that causes most misunderstandings: the machine is supplied without a hopper, without a stand and without a pedal. It can be worked by pedal or by the START button, but the pedal and the mounting stand are separate, as are the 10 and 20 litre hoppers.

If you are setting up a complete bottling station, count them in from the start.
