DANA 1000, 2000+ and 3000: what changes between models

The DANA 1000 uses a gear pump and has a stated dosing accuracy of ±2 g. The DANA 2000+ offers ±1 g and higher pumping capacity; the DANA 3000 retains ±1 g and adds a wheeled floor stand with electric height adjustment. That adjustment matters when changing containers or moving the filling station.

The reference pumping rates are approximately 270, 610 and 950 kg of honey per hour respectively. These are pumping figures, not weights of finished jars: presenting containers, dosing, closing and removing jars also take time. Base selection on your main jar size and the complete workstation’s output.

A rotary table presents jars to the nozzle

With a standalone filler, you bring each container to the nozzle. A rotary-table set advances the jars to the filling position, maintaining continuity without yet adding closing or labelling. Available configurations include compact 45 cm tables and 70 or 100 cm tables; diameter affects footprint and how many containers can be prepared.

If lid handling is the next bottleneck, the semi-automatic station with DANA 2000+ combines a table, dispenser and closing machine. Labelling is an additional operation. Select by included tasks rather than expecting a table alone to close jars.

Consistent dosing and identifiable replacement parts

Calibrate when changing honey or container size and weigh the first jars. Air in the feed circuit and changes in viscosity affect filling; a stated accuracy does not replace adjustment. With small packs, a gram also represents a larger share of the contents.

Keep the model and part reference when replacing a diaphragm, non-drip valve or gears. Some parts are shared while others are model-specific: diaphragm 110072, for example, is listed for DANA 1000, 2000 and 3000. This lets you maintain the head without replacing the whole machine.
