The foot pedal for DANA api MATIC filling machines: trigger the dose with your foot and keep both hands on the jar.
It plugs into the machine and does the job of the START button. It is the accessory the api MATIC 500 does not come with, and the spare for the 1000, 2000+ and 3000, which do.
01 · HANDS FREE
Filling off the START button always ties up one hand: you place the jar, let go, press, then pick it up again. The pedal gives that hand back — you hold the container with one and lift the full one away with the other while your foot fires the dose.
It changes neither pump throughput nor dose accuracy: what it changes is the rhythm of the run, and the jars that get spilled because you let go of them half full.
02 · COMPATIBILITY
The DANA api MATIC 1000, 2000+ and 3000 already ship with their pedal in the box: if you have one of those, this is the replacement.
The api MATIC 500 is the exception — the manufacturer supplies it without one, as an optional accessory. If you bought the small one and want to fill two-handed, this is the missing piece.
03 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Check first whether yours already came with one: only the 500 ships without a pedal.
