Details of Coil heater THERMA

Heating element for the DANA api THERMA straining system to help cold or partially crystallised honey pass through the strainer.

Choose according to the system diameter: Ø32 cm or Ø45 cm.

01 · FUNCTION

Provides heat; the strainer retains the particles

The spiral reduces viscosity around the passage area to recover flow rate. It does not filter on its own, does not reduce moisture and does not improve deteriorated honey. The objective is to use the minimum heat and time necessary, monitoring the actual temperature of the honey to avoid localised overheating.

02 · SYSTEM

Works with the cone and strainer of the same diameter

The stainless steel cone helps distribute the heat and the set of strainers performs the separation. Do not mix Ø32 and Ø45 cm pieces. Mount the equipment stable, with connections away from spills, and clean the coil when it is disconnected and cold.

03 · BEFORE YOU BUY

This reference is a component, not the complete THERMA system. The Ø32 cm variant corresponds to 109170EU and is listed with 550 W; the Ø45 cm corresponds to 109172EU. Its use for heating water has not been documented.
