01 · SORTING

Jars go in loose and come out in single file

The empty jars are loaded in bulk onto the table. As it turns, the railing and the pins, both adjustable, gather them and push them on towards the next machine in the line, usually a conveyor. It also takes hexagonal jars. The table holds 48 jars according to the manufacturer: at the 1,000 jars an hour of the complete Swienty line, that is about three minutes to fetch the next box of empties.

02 · SPEED

The infeed is matched to the filler

The table turns at 1 to 12 rpm, adjustable. That setting matches the incoming jars to the pace of the filler and the capper, which changes with the format: a 1 kg jar takes longer to fill than a 250 g one, and the table has to keep to that pace.

03 · INSTALLATION

A standard socket and an 83 cm working height

The table top sits at 83 cm, a standing working height, and the table takes up 100 × 100 cm of floor. It runs on 85 to 264 V at 184 W, with no extra installation, and weighs 60 kg. It takes jars up to 200 mm tall; on the complete line the most restrictive machine rules, and the collecting table stops at 170 mm.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

This is the infeed table; the outfeed one, which holds the finished jars, is a separate machine of the same size. It ships on a 120 × 80 × 140 cm pallet.
