Set of planetary gears in food-grade plastic for the Swienty DANA Api Matic 1000, 2000 and 3000 filling machines.
The gear is what pushes the honey and what sets the accuracy of the dose. It is changed as a set, not one at a time.
01 · WHEN TO CHANGE THEM
A worn gear train does not always make a sound: what you notice is the dose starting to drift for no reason and needing recalibration more often. Changing the set brings back repeatability without touching the motor.
You will have to recalibrate afterwards anyway: the new dose has no reason to match the one from a worn set.
02 · COLD OR HOT
These are the standard gears, in plastic suitable for food contact, and they are the right ones for the vast majority, who fill cold. For hot filling there is a separate stainless steel set, for the Api Matic 2000+ and 3000, costing around five times as much.
The question that decides is not which is better, but what temperature you fill at.
03 · BEFORE YOU BUY
Choose the model before ordering: there are two references, one for the DANA 1000 and another for the 2000 and 3000, and they are not the same part. The complete set is sold without the motor or the machine.
