- To order
Ø 100 cm stainless rotary collecting table: gathers the filled and labelled jars at the line exit, turning at 12 rpm.
It is a buffer, and that is why it does nothing to the product. At the line exit the jar has to go somewhere. With no collecting table you need someone taking jars off without pause, or the line jams. This table buys that time: jars spread across the disc while someone folds boxes, answers the phone or fetches more lids.
01 · IT IS AN OUTFEED BUFFER
On any line the most fragile step is the one that needs a person. What is automated here is not an operation, it is the tolerance for that person not being there for a couple of minutes.
That is why the table does nothing to the product: it does not fill, cap or label. All it adds is slack, and on a bottling day slack is exactly what runs short.
02 · ABOUT A HUNDRED JARS OF SLACK
On a disc one metre across, a half-kilo jar takes up some seven centimetres. Allowing for the central hub and the rim, it holds on the order of a hundred containers.
At the 800 jars an hour of the fastest filling station in the range, those hundred jars are seven or eight minutes before someone has to clear the table. It is an estimate, not a manufacturer's figure, but it is the order of magnitude to plan the post around.
03 · Ø100 CM AT 12 RPM
The disc is stainless steel, turns at 12 rpm — one revolution every five seconds — and draws 210 W at 230 V. The rotation is not decorative: it is what spreads containers outwards instead of piling them at the infeed point.
It takes jars from Ø 30 × 30 mm to Ø 120 × 170 mm, the same range as the belt and the filling station. It weighs 60 kg and stands on the floor, extending the line.
04 · BEFORE YOU BUY
It buys time, not production.
| ✓ A GOOD FIT | A line exit worked by one person: about a hundred jars of slack on the disc. |
| ⚠ IT DOES NOTHING TO THE PRODUCT | It neither fills, caps nor labels. What it adds is autonomy at the outfeed post. |
| ✕ NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR THE INFEED TABLE | This one goes at the end. The sorting table that feeds the line is a different machine. |
