01 · SLOW SO IT DOES NOT DRAW AIR

That is what the sensor is for

Pumping honey fast entrains air, and air in honey does not go away: it rises and becomes foam on the surface of the jar. It is the same problem that makes you skim before creaming, only here it is generated in the transfer.

Hence the pump works at the lowest possible rate at every moment instead of at a fixed flow. A gear pump is already inherently gentler than other solutions; the level control adds that it does not speed up without need.

02 · FROM 200 TO 1,100 KG AN HOUR

And the range is covered between 18 and 180 rpm

Flow runs from 200 to 1,100 kg/h, with the drive between 5 and 50 Hz, which translates to 18 to 180 revolutions per minute. To picture it: at full flow it moves a 300 kg drum in a little under twenty minutes.

It is bidirectional, so the same pump fills and empties. In a room with maturers and a bottling tank, that means one pump instead of two and half the hoses.

03 · 2-INCH BS, LIKE THE EXTRACTOR

Worth checking the size of your line

The couplings are 2 inch, Swienty BS type, that is DN50. They match the outlets on the large extractors but not the inch-and-a-half line (DN40) usual on maturers and common hoses.

Assembly is tool-free and the head is certified food-grade plastic, which makes stripping it for cleaning a one-minute job. The sensor's teach function is set in seconds.

04 · 1,500 W IS ABOUT 6.5 AMPS

And 36 kg on wheels

At 230 V, the motor's 1,500 W come to about 6.5 amps: it fits without trouble on a normal honey-house circuit, unlike machines with heating elements.

The assembly weighs 36 kg and measures 64 × 20 × 42 cm on its stainless trolley, so it goes wherever it is needed in the room. Danish built.
