Details of Stainless Steel Gearset for Hot Fill (DANA api MATIC 2000+/3000)

Set of two stainless steel gears for hot filling on DANA api MATIC 2000+ and 3000 bottlers.

The ordinary gears for the same machine cost €98.35. These are €526.00: five times more. The difference is not quality, it is material — stainless steel instead of the standard gear — and it serves one specific purpose: bottling warm honey without the part suffering. If you bottle cold, the ordinary ones are yours.

01 · THE STANDARD ONES ARE €98.35

And for most people they are the right ones

The gear is the wear part of a gear-pump bottler: it is what pushes the honey and what sets the accuracy of the dose. Our range has the standard replacement set at €98.35 and this one, stainless for heat, at €526.00. That is €427.65 of difference, a quarter of what the bottler itself costs.

The question that decides is not which is better, it is whether your honey goes into the machine warm. If it goes in cold or at room temperature, the standard set does exactly the same job.

02 · THE STEEL HOLDS; THE HONEY DOES NOT

And the two should not be confused

What stainless steel solves is the machine's problem: it takes the heat without deforming or losing its fit, and that is where dose accuracy lives. What it does not change is the honey's ceiling.

Above 40 °C the HMF rises and the diastase falls, and HMF is cumulative: it adds to whatever the honey already picked up when it was liquefied. Hot filling is there so that already-fluid honey does not stall in the nozzle, not to heat it further. Warm, not hot.

03 · HOSE AND CLAMP, SEPARATE

And both are needed to build the hotfill

The set is two gears and nothing else. The specific hotfill hose and the clamp are sold separately, and without them the assembly is not complete: order them together.

And check the model first: this set is for api MATIC 2000+ and 3000. The api MATIC 1000 in our range is another machine and takes another part.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

If you bottle cold, the €98.35 standard set is yours.

✓ A GOOD FITBottling warm honey on an api MATIC 2000+ or 3000 without the gear losing its fit.
⚠ HOSE AND CLAMP SEPARATEThe set is two gears. The rest of the hotfill assembly is ordered on its own.
✕ NOT THE ORDINARY SPAREFor cold bottling there is the standard set at €98.35: five times less for the same job.
