01 · WHY IT IS NOT OPTIONAL

Ten litres of honey up top move the centre of gravity

The DANA 1000 can be fed by hose from a tank, and then the machine works flat and stable. But the moment you fit the 10-litre hopper you are putting some fourteen kilos of honey up high, and the balance changes.

Swienty's answer is this table: the machine bolts on and the assembly gains base and weight. It is not a catalogue suggestion — it is the condition the manufacturer sets in the manual.

02 · CONTAINER HEIGHT

From 3.5 to 16 cm, adjustable in steps

The platform goes up and down so the mouth of the container always sits the same distance from the outlet, whether you are filling a 125 g jar or a one-kilo one. The range covers containers 3.5 to 16 cm tall, so a 1 kg jar of 14.9 cm goes in with room to spare; a tall bottle does not.

03 · THE GUIDE

It holds the jar at the drop point

It carries a plastic guide, also adjustable, that fixes the container exactly where the dose falls. That is what stops honey landing outside the mouth when you change format — and what lets you switch jars without recalibrating anything.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

This is a table stand: it lifts the machine, it does not raise it to bucket height.
