Ø 20 mm cut-off valve for the DANA Api bottling machine: the part that opens and closes the honey flow on every dose.
It is a wear item. It works on each filling cycle, so you change it when it starts to drip or to close late, not when it fails outright.
01 · FUNCTION
It stops the flow at the end of each dose
The cut-off valve is what halts the flow once the dose is out. If it closes late or lets honey run on, the jar weight drifts over and you have to recalibrate; that is why a spare belongs in the workshop before the season, not halfway through it.
