Details of Cross Elbow for FillOmat® Filling Machine

Stainless steel transverse elbow for the FillOmat® bottling machine: the part that turns the 38 mm line without choking it.

It is a spare part for one specific machine, not generic plumbing. Maker's reference 31541, the «Rohrbogen quer». It mounts on a flange with the holes already drilled and works on the same diameter as the 38 mm suction hose the FillOmat® comes with.

01 · WHAT IT DOES IN THE LINE

A turn with a radius, not a square corner

All the honey in the machine goes through this section. A sharp change of direction slows a dense honey down and makes the pump work against the bend itself; an elbow with a radius lets it through. In food-safe stainless steel, the same material as the rest of the circuit, so it adds neither a joint between different metals nor a spot that cannot be cleaned.

02 · NOT THE ONE WITH THE TAP

This one is plain; the priming elbow is the 31540-2

The maker's catalogue has two elbows and they are easy to mix up. This one, the 31541, is transverse and plain. The other, the 31540-2, is a 90° elbow with a priming tap on top for filling the head with honey at the start. If what you want is to prime the machine faster, that other one is the part you need.

03 · BEFORE YOU BUY

One part of one specific circuit, with a common confusion beside it.

✓ FITS	FillOmat® bottling machine and its 38 mm line, the same size as the suction hose supplied with the machine.
⚠ NOT WITH THE MACHINE	The FillOmat® is delivered with the 1.5 m suction hose, its check valve, two nozzles and two clamps. The elbows are sold separately.
✕ NO PRIMING TAP	This one has no tap. The one with the top tap is the 90° elbow (reference 31540-2).
