Details of FillOmat® Honey Filling Machine

Volumetric filler with touchscreen control: 30 g to 45 kg per dose, up to 600 jars of 500 g per hour and pumping up to 400 kg/h. It also pumps and blends creamed honey.

It is not just a filler: in pumping mode it makes creamed honey. And that second function is what justifies the price gap against an ordinary filler.

01 · WEIGHING OR DOSING

Fast and volumetric, with what that implies

This machine doses by flow and time, not by weight. Its accuracy is 1 to 2 % depending on the honey, the quantity and the speed — on a 500 g jar, 5 to 10 grams.

In exchange it gives 600 jars of 500 g per hour, which is 300 kg/h: more than three times a weighing filler. The choice between the two is exactly that: accuracy per jar against jars per hour.

02 · THE PUMPING MODE

That is where creamed honey is made

Besides filling, it pumps and blends: the recirculation mode lets you seed honey with creamed honey and start a controlled crystallisation, which is how you get a fine-textured creamed honey instead of a grainy jar.

The maker specifies 3 to 8 pumping cycles, a day apart, until the texture is even. It is a process of days, not of an afternoon, and the machine does the mechanical part.

03 · 40 °C IS THE CEILING

And it is not the machine that sets it

Filling is adjusted between 20 and 40 °C so the honey flows. That top figure is not a limitation of the device: it is where the honey's limit sits, because above 40 °C it starts paying for the heat in HMF, a parameter with legal force.

For dense honeys — rape and the like — the maker recommends warming to 25-35 °C before filling. Within that margin you gain fluidity without touching the analysis.

04 · IT COMES APART

Nozzles, pump and hoses are interchangeable

It is built in modules: you change the nozzle diameters to suit the jar, and also the pump or the hose system. That is the answer to whether spares can be had — it is not a sealed casing but a set of parts replaced one at a time.

The head carries a priming tap for filling the machine with honey at the start, which is the awkward part of any doser.

05 · WHAT IS IN THE BOX

Suction hose, nozzles and clamps

It ships with 1.5 m of 38 mm suction hose, its non-return valve, two interchangeable nozzles and two stainless steel clamps.

It runs on 230 V at 350 W and stays under 80 dB, which in a closed honey house is appreciated more than it sounds.

06 · BEFORE YOU BUY

This is a volumetric doser: fast and consistent, with 1-2 % tolerance. If what you need is the exact gram, a weighing filler is what gives it.

✓ RIGHT FITFilling at volume and, on top of that, making creamed honey with the same machine.
✕ WRONG FITIf the criterion is accuracy per jar: weighing wins there.
⚠ NOT INCLUDEDThe honey tank or the jars.
