01 · HOW IT HOLDS

Three slotted arms that hug the jar

It is a Y-shaped stainless plate: the three arms carry a long slot, so you loosen the base screws, slide each arm until it hugs the jar you are filling and tighten. Rest the jar, push it to the back of the bracket and it sits centred under the nozzle, with the space above clear for it to come down. To change format you move the arms, not the machine.

02 · WHAT CHANGES

Repeatable fills in long runs

With the jar aligned the nozzle enters straight and the honey falls to the centre of the base: no honey on the shoulder that has to be wiped before labelling, no threads knocked against the nozzle, no stopping to reposition every jar. Over an afternoon of two or three hundred jars that is time and losses.

03 · WHAT IT GOES WITH

Only the Fillomat

The mounting is the Fillomat base (2365): it is no use on other fillers. Stainless, washed with hot water and food-grade detergent and taken off when you finish. From the same machine: anti-drip nozzle 2892, elbows 2415 and 2416, hopper 2959, level sensor 2268 and turntable 3321.
