Swienty PRO frame grip with reverse action: squeeze to open and release to close around the frame.

A conventional grip requires hand pressure throughout the lift. Here the spring maintains the hold, so the hand can guide and carry without continuous squeezing. The body is stainless steel and the handles have a rubber covering.

01 · MECHANISM

Hand pressure opens; the spring keeps the jaws closed

Squeeze both handles to separate the jaws, centre them over the top bar and release gradually. The grip remains closed while the frame is moved. To let go, support the frame first and squeeze again; never try to pull the jaws open while they are carrying a load.

02 · HANDLING

Break the propolis seal first, then lift

The tool is for gripping and lifting, not levering apart stuck frames. Loosen propolis points with a hive tool, create clearance and only then take the top bar. Keep the frame upright, avoid abrupt turns and steady it with the other hand when it carries a heavy load of honey or brood.

03 · COMPATIBILITY

Takes top bars up to 32 mm thick

The stated opening is for top bars up to 3.2 cm. Measure the real thickness, including wax or propolis build-up, and make sure both jaws bear evenly. A thicker or distorted bar, or a grip taken only at one corner, reduces holding security.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

Heavier than a light grip, but no continuous squeeze is needed

The Swienty PRO weighs 366 g, is 125 mm wide overall and 180 mm high; the handle section is 118 mm wide. Check the spring and jaw alignment before work, clean wax and propolis from the jaws and test the hold before lifting the frame fully.
