🔧 The spatula on the tip — what problem it solves

In hive handling beekeepers constantly switch tools: brush a frame, leave it, pick up the hive tool, unstick crown board, scrape wax, back to brush... Each switch means dropping the tool somewhere (apiary floor, empty super) and picking it up again. The integrated spatula on the handle tip solves this: you brush with one end, flip it over and the spatula on the other end unsticks or scrapes without releasing the tool. For harvest sessions of many supers in a row, this micro-efficiency adds up.

🐝 Dual row for harvest — the main component

The brush is the main component of the tool — the spatula is complementary. Dual row: two parallel rows of bristles for maximum sweep coverage on a full frame. Natural horsehair with the right firmness that does not break wings or legs and does not build up static from friction. 47 cm handle (2 cm longer than the BR11 standard dark-handle) — the extra length accommodates the spatula without shortening the useful brush area.

💡 When the combo (BR01) pays off vs the pure (BR11)

BR01 with spatula (this model, € 10.70): if you carry little material in hand on quick visits, if you work in cold areas where propolis is abundant and you need to scrape a lot, or if you do 'express' extraction without a large workshop. BR11 without spatula (€ 8): if you already carry hive tool + multipurpose spatula on the belt and you only need the pure brush.
