≤ 500 kg/h NOMINAL CAPACITY | 1.1 kW P500 MOTOR |
55 L HONEY SUMP | 200–240 V SINGLE PHASE |
A continuous cappings press that separates honey and wax with a nylon screw, adjustable speed and distinct honey and wax outlets for integration into a professional line.
The Paradise P500 receives the mixture through its hopper, moves and compresses it with an auger, lets honey pass through strainer plates into the lower sump and carries pressed wax to the end outlet. The screen provides pre-filtration, not final filtration.
01 · OUTPUT
Paradise publishes a capacity of up to 500 kg/h. This is a nominal maximum feed rate, not sustained output for an entire honey room. Actual rate changes with honey-to-wax ratio, temperature, compaction, crystallisation, uniform feeding, speed setting and discharge capacity. Size the hopper, operator, wax outlet, honey sump and honey transfer as one line; when a downstream stage is saturated, the press cannot remove that bottleneck.
02 · FEED CONDITION
The manual states that heating is not required to separate honey and wax and allows freshly produced cappings to be processed. The current product page adds that gentle pre-conditioning may improve results. No universal temperature is published: feed a homogeneous, mobile mixture, avoid unnecessary heating and validate any conditioning against the batch quality protocol. The machine is intended for honey-bearing cappings and comb trimmings; it must never run dry or receive hard foreign objects.
03 · SEPARATION
The nylon screw moves the mixture forward as pressure increases. Honey crosses the housing slots and falls into the 55 L stainless sump; wax continues towards the end. The manual explains that some compacted wax must remain between the inner and outer housings for correct operation. Start at low speed and feed continuously. Residual honey in the wax varies with material and adjustment: the former 1.5% promise has been removed because it is absent from both the current manual and product page.
04 · INSTALLATION AND CONTROL
The P500 measures 142 × 72 × 75 cm and weighs 135 kg. It must stand level and stable and, where needed, be fixed to the floor; optional castors must be locked. The Ø 76 mm honey outlet needs prepared pipework and a receiving vessel, while wax needs its own container. Documented supply is 200–240 V single phase with a 1.1 kW motor and 10 A fuse. The plug may follow the buyer's country or arrive unmounted, so connection belongs to a qualified electrician.
05 · SAFETY AND CLEANING
Only trained adults should operate the press. Before the season, test forward and reverse, speed control, guards and emergency stop. Never remove the safety grid, reach inside or push material with metal tools; only use long wooden or plastic utensils under controlled conditions. Stop and disconnect power before cleaning. The manual specifies daily residue removal with water below 35 °C, without detergent, keeping spray away from the motor, inverter, panel and switches. Dry the machine before returning it to service.
06 · BEFORE BUYING
The attached manual, revision 07 July 2021, specifies for P500: 1.1 kW, 55 L, 750 × 720 × 1420 mm, 135 kg, 10 A and 200–240 V single phase; the current Paradise page agrees on the motor and main dimensions. Older LTA text stated 1.5 kW, 60 L and 74 cm height. The quotation must lock serial or revision, rating plate, plug, components, feed height, wax receiver and uncapping-machine interface.
| ✓ SUITABLE | Continuous processing of honey-and-wax cappings mixture with stable feed and correctly sized outlets. |
| ✕ NOT A | Uncapper, honey transfer pump, final filter, wax melter or guarantee of residual moisture. |
| ⚠ CONFIRM | Electrical version and plug, wax receiver, honey pipework, integration, guarding and exact supply list. |
