This plastic nut provides internal clamping for a guillotine honey gate with a 40/49 connection in the 1 ½″ size. It secures the gate to the wall of a compatible honey tank or drum.

📐 Check thread and usable length

Confirm the 40/49 standard, the thread, and the remaining length after passing through the wall and gasket. Two taps nominally 1 ½″ may have different thread profiles.

🔧 Tighten evenly, do not overtighten

Align the tap, fit a suitable food-grade gasket, and tighten while holding the body to prevent rotation. Overtightening may deform the nut, gasket, or the container wall.

🧼 Test before filling with honey

Fill with water above the connection and observe both sides. If moisture appears, disassemble and check the alignment, gasket, and threads; do not compensate for an incompatible part with more force.
