Details of Plastic Honey Valve THOMAS 40/49 1 ½″

When filling jars, precisely cutting off the honey stream reduces drips and cleaning between containers.

This THOMAS tap uses a vertical guillotine-style shutoff and an angled outlet to direct the flow.

01 · USE

Flow cutoff from a wide handle

The lever makes opening and closing easy, even during repetitive use. The angled outlet helps position the jar under the pouring point and cuts off the flow at the end of each filling.

02 · CONNECTION

40/49 Connection — 1 1/2 inches

The stated compatibility is for a 40/49 threaded outlet of 1 ½″. Before purchasing, check the diameter, pitch, and geometry of the tank or machine connection; the nominal diameter alone does not guarantee fitment.

03 · CLEANING

Also clean the cutting area

Disassemble only the parts specified by the manufacturer, remove any honey and crystals from the sliding mechanism, and allow the parts to dry before reassembly. Check the seal and perform a water test before filling with the product.

04 · BEFORE YOU BUY

✓ FITS	Tanks and settling vessels bored for 40/49 (1 ½″), in hand bottling.
✕ DOESN'T FIT	1″ (33/42) and 2″ (50/60) connections, and DIN dairy threads, which are a different standard.
