When filling jars, precisely cutting off the honey stream reduces drips and cleaning between containers. This THOMAS tap uses a vertical guillotine-style shutoff and an angled outlet to direct the flow.
The lever makes opening and closing easy, even during repetitive use. The angled outlet helps position the jar under the pouring point and cuts off the flow at the end of each filling.
The stated compatibility is for a 40/49 threaded outlet of 1 ½″. Before purchasing, check the diameter, pitch, and geometry of the tank or machine connection; the nominal diameter alone does not guarantee fitment.
Disassemble only the parts specified by the manufacturer, remove any honey and crystals from the sliding mechanism, and allow the parts to dry before reassembly. Check the seal and perform a water test before filling with the product.
