Honey ripeners and storage tanks are usually fitted with a slide gate valve. That works fine for filling jars by hand, but once you want to transfer honey with a pump or connect to a professional filling machine, the problem appears: you cannot attach a hose directly to this type of tap.

The solution is this butterfly valve DN 40 (1" ½) with hose fitting. Made of food-grade stainless steel with durable plastic components, it makes your tank much more versatile. It gives you a direct hose outlet, ready to connect in seconds to pumps, filters or filling lines.

The Ø40 mm hose tail ensures a tight, leak-proof fit with standard flexible hoses, and also works with Ø38 mm hoses (by slightly heating the hose end). The butterfly mechanism provides precise open/close control, preventing honey loss and streamlining your workflow.
