The counterflow valve prevents air in the honey caused by counterflow: If the honey container stands on a higher level than the filling machine and/or your customers take breaks during the filling process, honey may run back into the hose, which will lead to air in the honey when starting the filling process up again.

In these cases, we recommend using the counterflow valve.
