Screw conveyor for cappings (auger system)

After uncapping, wax cappings saturated with honey must be moved quickly to the next stage—whether it’s a cappings spinner, wax press, melter, or settling tank. Doing this manually with buckets is slow, sticky and inefficient. This auger-type screw conveyor automates the transfer, improving workflow in any honey house.

Made entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel, it's food-safe, corrosion-resistant and easy to clean—ideal for demanding professional use.

The wide inlet chute (670 x 610 mm) collects cappings directly from the uncapping machine. A 95 mm screw auger transports them to the outlet at a stepless adjustable speed up to 140 rpm, powered by a 0.75 kW motor (230V, single-phase).

A float switch controls the on/off function based on the fill level of the hopper, preventing both overflows and dry operation.

The TC50 sanitary outlet ensures full compatibility with professional separation equipment such as presses, cappings spinners, wax melters or pumps—seamlessly integrating into automated extraction lines.
