This 50 L mixer from the CLASSIC line is specially designed to carry out the honey creaming process without heat. It transforms liquid honey into stable, smooth, spreadable creamed honey using automatic stirring cycles.
What does this machine do and when is it useful?
The creaming process gives honey a smooth, butter-like texture that consumers love. This device achieves that through a helical stainless steel stirrer that breaks larger crystals and promotes fine, even crystallization.
⚠️ This model does not include a heating system, so it cannot decrystallize solid honey. Honey must be already liquid or pre-warmed (e.g., using a drum heater or immersion heater). It is ideal for working with honey in “patok” state.
How the process works
The drum has a usable capacity of 50 L (~70 kg of honey). Inside, a helical stirrer performs intermittent mixing cycles, typical of the creaming process:
• 15 minutes of stirring
• 1 hour of rest
These cycles repeat automatically for several days, managed by the C-05 digital controller, which is easy to program and reliable.
The stirring also causes slight aeration, which contributes to the desired creamy texture. Adding a small amount of “seed honey” (pre-creamed honey) helps speed up crystallization and improves the result.
When is this model useful?
• Ideal if you preheat the honey externally and want a reliable creaming cycle.
• Suitable for transforming liquid mono- or multifloral honey (lavender, thyme, rosemary...) into gourmet formats.
• A great choice for small-scale production where precision is needed without heat.
