The size is the whole purchase: Ø 400, 500, 600 or 700 mm. And the price goes with it, from €425 to €499. What you choose when you choose the size is the diameter of the tank that will sit on it.

01 · FOUR SIZES, FOUR PRICES

And it is decided with the tank in front of you

The sizes are Ø 400 mm (€425), Ø 500 (€450), Ø 600 (€475) and Ø 700 (€499). Between the smallest and the largest there is €74, so money should not decide: the tank you are going to put on it should.

02 · TO GET THE LAST KILO OUT

Which is where backs get hurt

Emptying the bottom of a settling tank by tilting it by hand, on a wet floor with two hundred kilos on top, is the manoeuvre that causes most injuries in a honey house. Up on a stand, the tank empties by gravity to the end and nobody has to balance anything. The platform tilts up to 3% with a spindle.

It suits settling tanks, creamers, mixers and homogenisers: any vessel with a bottom tap gains the same.

03 · AND IT MOVES LOADED

Which is the other half of the point

It runs on swivel castors with brakes, so the tank stops being furniture: it goes over to the bottler, comes away so the floor can be cleaned, and goes back without being emptied first.

It is stainless steel, like the tank standing on it, so it does not introduce a different material into the food area that has to be cleaned separately.
