Langstroth & Dadant wooden Super 9F

This wooden medium super is designed for fixed hives compatible with the Dadant US and Langstroth systems with 25 mm thick walls. It stacks easily over the brood chamber and expands the honey storage space during nectar flows. It comes fully assembled with 9 wired straight frames measuring 48 x 16 cm, ready to be placed in the hive.

It includes a galvanised metal frame spacer that ensures proper spacing between frames, improving ventilation and preventing the combs from merging. This promotes easier movement of bees and helps keep the hive organised, especially during heavy nectar flows such as lavender, orange blossom or rosemary blooms.

The structure is made of solid maritime pine (Pinus pinaster) wood, 25 mm thick, assembled with a tongue-and-groove joint for maximum stability. The wood is dried to 12% moisture and aged for a year before assembly, with no chemical treatments, making it safe for bees and honey. It also receives a phytosanitary heat treatment to ensure food safety standards.

Its external dimensions are 51.5 cm long x 43 cm wide x 17 cm high, making it fully compatible with the most common fixed hive models.
