Details of Combcapper uncapping frame rest

The Combcapper is a plastic uncapping tray designed to rest the frame directly over a bucket or ripener, catching the cappings and honey that drip off while you work. A convenient, low-cost solution for hobby beekeepers who don't need — or aren't ready to invest in — a full uncapping tray bench.

📦 What's in the box?

Just the Combcapper tray. The buckets and ripeners shown in some photos are there for reference only, to illustrate compatibility — they are NOT included and are sold separately. If you need the container to work over, you can add the PRIMO30 bucket (31 L, around 42 kg of honey) or the PRIMO46 (46 L, around 62 kg) to your order, depending on your harvest volume.

📐 Fits standard 32 cm buckets

The tray sits directly on any plastic bucket or ripener with a ~32 cm rim diameter: the classic 18 L white bucket and the PRIMO30 and PRIMO46. Honey and cappings drop straight into the container, no mess on the workbench.

🍯 Clean uncapping without a full bench

For small harvests (5–15 hives) you don't need an uncapping machine or a 1 m bench: rest the frame on the tray's shoulders, draw your uncapping fork or knife, and the cappings drop into the bucket below with the honey that runs off. Rinses clean in five minutes with warm water. Once you go past ~20 hives or run multiple harvests per season, a proper uncapping bench with spike or ladder will pay off.
