When you’re getting the apiary gear ready before the season, you know a good frame saves work all year long. The Layens wired pine frame is one of those essentials that never fail: simple, sturdy, and fully compatible with any standard Layens hive.
Made of selected pine wood, it combines lightness and strength to support the weight of full combs without warping. It includes three galvanized wires that hold the wax sheet in place, preventing sagging even in summer heat or during honey extraction.
The wire comes untensioned, allowing you to adjust it to your preference before embedding the wax sheet — preventing breakage, vibration in the extractor, and ensuring perfectly flat combs.
Ideal for both the brood chamber and honey storage in fixed or migratory hives, this frame is built to last several seasons with minimal maintenance.

Overall they are all right, but just stapled without any glue and without checking for alignment... I have to rework every single frame.
Even tightening the wire doesnt help.
So i cant recommend this product.
I ordered them because you dont get layens frames in germany.
But all the other frames you get here like dadant or zander, they cost around 1,20€ per frame but are completely done, they are perfectly aligned and ready to use. Thats what i expect when i buy them. Otherwise i can build them all by myself, because cutting the wood is not really a matter if i have to properly align them anyways.
