Detalles de INVERTOFIX – For preparing inverted syrup

When you arrive at the apiary in spring and see that the queen needs a boost to kickstart egg-laying, you know that supplementary feeding makes the difference. Or in autumn, when it’s time to prepare the hives for winter, the quality of the syrup you provide can decide whether they enter the cold season strong and with stable reserves. At those moments, having INVERTOFIX at hand gives you peace of mind.

Many beekeepers still prepare homemade sugar syrups without knowing that this has two main problems:

• Common sugar (sucrose) is a double molecule that bees cannot use directly. To benefit from it, they must break it down with an enzyme of their own, which means extra effort and unnecessary energy consumption.
• Sugar syrup that has not been inverted tends to crystallise in the combs during cold weather, because sucrose recrystallises into solid form. In winter this can leave food hardened inside the frames, inaccessible to the hive. In addition, if stored for long periods, it can ferment and spoil.

With INVERTOFIX you avoid all these issues. This product transforms sugar into an inverted syrup, i.e. glucose and fructose – simple sugars that bees can absorb immediately. Unlike corn syrups (HFCS), which contain more complex and less digestible sugars, inverted syrup with INVERTOFIX is composed only of glucose and fructose, which bees take up instantly.

How to use it? Add 5 ml of INVERTOFIX for every kilo of sugar with the included measuring cup. The product breaks down sucrose and prevents crystallisation, fermentation and wasted energy in the hive. You can prepare syrup whenever you need it and always feed it fresh.

Practical applications:

• For spring stimulation: 1:1 syrup at room temperature, add INVERTOFIX and wait 8–12 hours before feeding.
• For winter reserves: thicker 3:2 syrup, prepared with warm water (max. 45 °C), add INVERTOFIX and let it act 16–24 hours.

Real advantages for the beekeeper:

• You choose the sugar quality and price that suits you.
• Prepare fresh inverted syrup on demand, without long storage times.
• You can store sugar (takes up less space and does not spoil), instead of large drums of ready-made syrup.
• More economical than commercial inverted syrups.
• Avoids crystallisation in combs and spoilage by fermentation.
• Bees make better use of their energy: more brood, stronger colonies and higher productivity.

Technical details: available in 250 ml or 1000 ml bottles, liquid ready to use, with a 5 ml graduated dosing cup. Dosage: 5 ml of INVERTOFIX per kilo of sugar used to prepare the syrup.
