Professional honey dehumidifier Ø620 mm with fixed plates and forced air flow for reducing excess moisture in high-risk honeys.
When freshly harvested honey exceeds 18 % water content, its shelf life, structure and stability can be compromised. This is especially common in early bloomings or humid climates, where bees may cap cells before optimal dehydration is reached.
The LYSON Ø620 mm honey dehumidifier, with an approximate capacity of 300 kg (about 215 liters), is designed to address this issue efficiently and safely. It is a high-capacity professional unit equipped with fixed rotary plates, forced-air ventilation, and an intuitive electronic controller that allows precise and stable process adjustments.
A dry, thermally stable environment for critical batches
Unlike passive ripeners or ambient ventilation systems, this dehumidifier creates an active drying chamber where warm air circulates continuously, driven by a 250 m³/h fan, maintaining a consistent atmosphere that favors progressive moisture evaporation.
The fixed plates mounted on a rotating shaft maximize honey surface exposure, allowing evaporation without the need for stirring or agitation. This is especially helpful with honeys prone to crystallization or separation, such as heather or forest honeydew.
Up to 2 % moisture reduction in 10–12 hours is possible, provided the honey is in liquid or semi-liquid state. The cylindrical tank and lid are made of food-grade stainless steel (0H18N9), ensuring stability and thermal insulation.
Simple operation, robust build for intensive use
The unit includes:
• A 750 W motor with transmission driving the central shaft
• A 1200 W heating element for even temperature
• A 250 m³/h ventilation fan
• A user-friendly controller with easy parameter adjustment
• A 6/4" stainless steel butterfly valve for direct honey discharge
Honey is poured into the tank up to the marked level. Once sealed, the process begins. After drying, the product is simply drained through the lower valve.
Especially suitable for:
• Beekeepers processing large batches or moisture-sensitive honey
• Honeys from humid blooms like orange blossom, eucalyptus, heather or strawberry tree
• Batches for glass jars or export, where strict moisture standards apply
• Professionals needing a stable, closed, and efficient system for humidity reduction
