Detalles de Creamed honey mixer 70 L automatic LYSON

Sounds familiar? Winter arrives, and the honey you jarred so nicely has turned into hard blocks. Customers have to fight with the spoon, and you see how sales slow down. Nowadays people want something different: a spreadable, smooth texture that goes on toast without dripping and without crunchy crystals in the mouth.

Turning your crop into creamed honey is one of the easiest ways to add value. The problem starts when you try to do it with a drill and paddle: it is tiring, takes hours and the result changes from batch to batch. One day it is perfect, the next one you overwork it or the crystallisation goes wrong.

With the LYSON 70 L automatic mixer you move from improvisation to a controlled and repeatable process, designed to handle batches of around 100 kg with a professional approach.

Why this machine makes better creamed honey

The key to good creamy honey is not just “stirring” but controlled crystallisation. You need to break the large crystals and distribute fine seeded honey evenly throughout the tank. The stainless steel helical agitator is designed to move dense honey masses without incorporating too much air, which improves shelf life and avoids an unwanted layer of foam on the surface.

Working within the right temperature range for creaming (around 14–18 °C, depending on the honey) you get a homogeneous, silky and stable texture over time. Perfect for rosemary, multifloral or oilseed rape honeys that tend to crystallise fast.

Automation: let the machine work while you are in the apiary

Manual creaming is tedious because you must keep an eye on the clock all the time. With the C-05 automatic controller you program work and rest cycles and the machine simply repeats them day and night.

• You can easily set mixing and pause intervals according to your own creamed honey recipe.
• The digital display shows which phase of the cycle is running, without having to open the lid every few minutes.
• The safety system stops the motor as soon as you lift the lid so you can check the product calmly.

In practice this means the mixer keeps working while you are in the apiary, filling other batches or simply resting.

Details that matter in daily use

The tank and agitator are made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, food grade, easy to clean and resistant to years of work in the honey room. The 5/4" gate valve allows you to empty directly into smaller ripeners or into the filling line, without effort or product loss. The unit runs on standard 230 V power, so you can use it in any workshop with a reinforced domestic installation.

Tips to make it last for many years

One point that is often overlooked is the care of the acrylic lid. Never clean it with alcohol or aggressive products, because they create microcracks over time. The correct way is to use lukewarm water (maximum 25 °C) and neutral soap with a soft sponge. If the machine has been stored in a very cold room, let it acclimatise before switching it on to avoid condensation on the electronics and extend the life of the control panel.

In short, what this mixer brings to your operation

If you handle medium volumes of honey and want to improve your presentation, this unit lets you standardise texture and offer the market a gourmet creamed honey, always equally smooth and spreadable. You stop selling “crystallised honey” and start selling a worked, differentiated product that supports a better price per jar and reduces complaints about hard honey.

Approximate working capacity: 70 L, equivalent to about 100 kg of honey depending on density. Nominal agitator speed: 36 rpm, with heavy duty gear motor and C-05 electronic controller. All parts in contact with honey are made of AISI 304 stainless steel. Equipped with 5/4" gate valve and acrylic safety lid with motor stop when opened. Designed and manufactured in Europe by LYSON for beekeepers who want to add value to every kilo of honey.
